With nearly two decades in technical recruiting, Amy has helped over 1,000 startups build world-class engineering teams from the ground up. She’s mastered the art and science of talent acquisition—from sourcing elite engineers in competitive markets to designing strategic hiring roadmaps that fuel growth.
Amy’s 95% close rate speaks to her ability to not only find top talent but to build trust, tell a compelling story, and ensure candidates feel like they’ve found their next home. She thrives on the challenge of finding needle-in-a-haystack talent and connecting people with opportunities that ignite their passion.
When not recruiting, Amy can be found snowboarding, enjoying a strong cup of coffee, or diving into a great book. She is patiently spending time teaching her daughter and son how to drive.
Managing Partner, STEM
Marc combines scientific expertise with entrepreneurial vision to lead our specialized STEM recruiting practice. Starting college at 15, he worked as a microbiologist and process engineer before transitioning to technical recruiting.
His background in biological sciences, chemistry, and engineering gives him unique insight into the technical roles he helps fill. Marc was reinvigorated as an entrepreneur through the National Science Foundation iCorps program, bringing innovation principles to the recruiting field.
An Ohio native and enthusiastic world traveler, Marc enjoys big mountain skiing, scuba diving, boating, and cars. His technical passion extends to automotive engineering—he has judged concours-level car shows, driven performance vehicles on racetracks, and represented OEMs at industry events.

With 12+ years of experience across recruitment, tech, and AI, Ray blends deep industry knowledge with forward-thinking innovation. Starting out in the world of talent acquisition, he quickly became known for connecting people with opportunity — and later, for using technology to make that process smarter.
Today, Ray leads research at Grit Matters, driving everything from AI-powered hiring tools to market insights that help clients stay ahead of the curve. Passionate about the future of work, he is on a mission to make recruiting faster, fairer, and more data-driven than ever.
